May 2020 Update in Regards to COVID-19

In accordance with Governor Murphy’s Executive Orders, the Workers’ Compensation Courts are closed to in-person proceedings. However, scheduled hearings, conferences, motions and settlement hearings are still being conducted via telephonic conference and/or video conference. Each Workers’ Compensation Court in the State is staffed with at least one Judge and Court Clerk in an effort to conduct as many matters as possible. Over the past eight weeks, we have handled countless hearings and conferences, including a number of settlement hearings. We are doing everything we can to ensure our clients’ claims are being handled without delay.

Although we are not hosting in-person office conferences at the moment, we are continuing to accept new client intakes! Much of the information we need can be obtained over the phone. We have the ability to meet via Zoom, FaceTime, or another video conferencing application.
